Associate Software Engineer

This role at Toddle was my first full time software engineering role. I was worked with the team responsible for building and managing the admin portal of Toddle’s web app — which is where the educators and school admins manage all of the organisation / school’s data, resources and configuration.
I worked on numerous bugs, resolved sentries and build out some very crucial features working with the team and product designers.
- Worked on implementing an impersonation feature for school admins to login as the org's students & teachers and resolve bugs on their end.
- Built a contextual help feature with very less overhead to enable module specific help within the platform pages itself, eliminating dependency on external providers.
- Implemented RAG within help feature enabling users to get concise and helpful answers using AI.
- Revamped flows to add users & entities to the platform such as students, teachers, classes, courses, etc.
- Revamped the admin portal to a new architeture using efficient nodes generation in the sidebar, implementing search & improving performance by 30%.
